So, why am I undertaking this course? I have used Twitter a bit and have just started with Delcious, and this course seemed a really good opportunity to look at a wider range of media in a stimulating environment. I am on the older end of the spectrum, but keen to engage and as a CILIP mentor and a team leader, it is important that I have an understanding and appreciation of what is out there and what and when to use the media.

    Thank you for your post on my blog. I like the design of yours. I enjoyed reading your post too. Like you I'm reasonably new to some of the social media - I've used Delicious links at work but I've never used Twitter and feel I should know how it works!

    Appreciate your comments Suzanne - thank you. A small group of us have just started using Delicious for a select number of free internet resources and will then put the pages up for the students. What process do you have for ensuring the links are live?
